This is Murphy (one of our dogs) as a puppy. He is Oscar through and through and has a fantastic character and is very loving.

This breed of gun dog has a broad nose for scenting, a generous, square muzzle, a pronounced stop, and a precise yet delicate bite, ideal for retrieving game. Its long coat is silky in texture but not curly. In solid coloured dogs, white markings are usually only on the chest. Long ears hang close to the ground and often harbour ticks and burrs, which can lead to disease and injury.

Full of life and exuberance, a popular family dog that is very loving. In return they require moderate to good exercise.
