  Graceful and pretty yet sporting and active, the Cavalier is extremely adaptable and makes a good family pet, young and old a like. Compact in build with attractive head, long ears, large eyes. Tail usually undocked but may be docked. The long silky coat is easy to groom, which will avoid tangling.

• Characteristics

  The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is ideal in town and country, handy size for family outings, always happy and friendly, absolutely non-aggressive.

• Temperament

  Obedient, affectionate. They are excellent with children and the elderly. Cavaliers get along with everyone, including cats and other small pets.
