Oscar Support the First SARDA Trailing Seminar
This week SARDA are running their first Trailing Seminar at the Bowland and Pennine Mountain Rescue Team headquarters in the Trough of Bowland, Lancashire.
Our expert Behaviourist Shelley Aspden (BSc Hons Msc Animal Behaviour & Welfare)is attending the course and will be writing about her experience in the coming weeks. Representatives from Oscar Pet Foods attended last night to show support to the course. Simon Bartholomew gave a presentation to the delegates on the theme of the Oscar 'Honest Label Policy'. Following the presentation, the Oscar team were presented with a certificate of appreciation from NSARDA; thanking us for our support over the past four and a half years.
The trailing seminar is a first for SARDA. Representatives from many of the SARDA organisations were in attendence for the seminar on this exciting method of tracking lost people. Event organiser Iain Nicholson hopes that Trailing will become adopted more widely across the UK and plans to run this seminar regularly to spread the word.
- SARDA England and Wales are supported by Oscar Pet Foods; we feed all their graded dogs free of charge. They need all of our support and donations, however small to keep this lifesaving work going.
