Which area does your OSCAR business cover?
Wrexham, Oswestry, Ellesmere, Malpas as well as Tattenhall, Bunbury & Tarporley
What was your career before OSCAR?
I worked for 29 years with GE Water & Process Technologies as Project Manager, but was made redundant in December 2015.
What made you decide on a career change to run your own OSCAR Business?
After being made redundant from previous employment of 29 years it gave us the opportunity to consider a franchise with OSCAR Pet Foods.
What was it that made you choose an OSCAR franchise business?
We only considered OSCAR! As we knew the products and just how good it was!
What has been your favourite part of your OSCAR training so far?
By far, it's been meeting all the wonderful customers who have been warm and welcoming to us, running the Small local shows where people are so enthusiastic and encouraging.
What pets do you have?
Barney, Border Collie, 5 years. Merlin, Border Collie, 1.5 years Ruby, Lancashire Heeler, 15 years.
Which OSCAR food do you feed your pet?
What is your pet's favourite game to play and why?
Ball and stick chasing!
Tell us a funny tale about your pet
Our Border Collie Barney has given us many amusing moments, he is a very friendly dog and loves meeting people and other walkers. He has a habit of “photobombing “ Family photo Scenes, We would walk along and there he would be laying at the feet of the walkers have their photos taken.
If you could be any pet, what would you be and why?
This was Margery’s answer to this question, she would like to be a small dog – Bichon Frise which get pampered, cuddled, carried around and generally spoiled.
