Welcome to OSCAR Pet Foods Isle of Man, covering Port Erin, Port St Mary, Castletown, Douglas, Onchan, Ramsey, Laxey, Andreas, Maughold, Peel and surrounding villages.
Many of you may know me. I’m Nick Smith, and I am delighted to be introducing OSCAR Pet Foods to our island community. For devoted pet owners who don’t yet know OSCAR, a real treat lies in store. Established on the mainland over 25 years ago, the company prides itself on nutritional excellence and honest labelling. My van-based business is focused on caring for our local pet owning community with prompt and hassle-free home delivery of quality dog food and cat food – safe in the knowledge that great pet nutrition delivers excellent health and promotes comfortable, energetic and happy pets. An exciting range of pet accessories complements the service alongside free healthcare advice and tips.
Navigating 2020 has involved many unwanted changes. But when it comes to pet care, I am confident that bringing OSCAR to the Isle of Man will bring a change for the better. I am totally committed to supporting islanders by delivering a quality service to their doorsteps and improving lives with much-needed convenience. I have lived on the island since I was a boy: growing up in Onchan, attending school in Douglas and enjoying several interesting careers including journalism, finance, postal deliveries and private taxi hire. Away from work I love animals, all sports and all things related to physical health. Being trustworthy and punctual is important to me and I certainly enjoy being out and about, meeting new people and helping our precious community thrive in every way possible.
I’ve always loved and lived with animals, having owned both dogs and cats, and now share a home with three Manx cats, two South African Boer goats, six chickens and a cockerel! As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to feel that you are giving your pets all they deserve. Choosing OSCAR means I can help you achieve that more easily.
OSCAR Pet Foods Isle of Man intends to offer the most friendly and efficient pet food delivery service this island has ever known. Finding you shouldn’t be a problem: with postal services and private taxi hire featuring on my CV it’s fair to say I know my way around the island very well! And, with such relatively small distances to cover, I should be with you in no time at all.
Whether I’m parked in the Plantations supporting dog walkers, driving along coastal roads or making deliveries in and out of town I’m sure you’ll soon spot my distinctive new van – it’s the only one on the island!
Rest assured, I will be doing my best to help you look after your pets. If you need to shield or find yourself self-isolating at short notice, let me save you a journey! Simply give me a call – I’ll be delighted to help.
