Dog Breeds
Bulldog

- Size
- Appearance
- With a musculature almost out of proportion to its size, the Bulldog is a diminutive, but powerful, mastiff-type dog. Its head is enormous, the circumference of which may equal its height. Its eyes are set low. White predominates in the coat, although there are plenty of pied, brindle, and fawn Bulldogs.
- Characteristics
- Rather obstinate by nature, not of a build to be pushed around, takes time to comply with orders - patience is essential for bulldog owners. The short fine coat is easily kept clean but daily attention must be paid to face wrinkles, which need to be kept clean and dry.
- Temperament
- Affectionate, docile. The Bulldog is a bit too friendly to be a good guard dog but would defend a family member in need.
