Senior High Fibre Lite Dog Food 1.5kg
Did you know? Being just 6% overweight can affect your senior dog’s quality of life without you even knowing.
Our High Fibre Lite recipe is made with that in mind. A special blend of fibres helps your dog to feel comfortably full for longer whilst boosted levels of L-Carnitine help to burn and metabolise fat and maintain muscle mass during weight loss. When it comes to optimum nutrition, lower levels of fat and calories are balanced with enhanced palatability to improve taste and flavour, Taurine to aid heart function, and added herbs, fruits and vegetables to support general health and wellbeing.
Senior High Fibre Lite dog food is often chosen for its delicious flavour but is especially suited to dogs needing help with weight reduction or restriction as well as less active senior dogs needing support with age-related health issues. Pet Care Guide
Switching foods? Introducing your dog to a new food should be a gradual process. Avoiding sudden change will help to reduce the risk of any tummy upsets or discomfort.
We recommend dividing the total daily amount of food into a minimum of three meals per day.
Do not be tempted to overfeed. Daily amounts may need to be adjusted to meet the needs of your pet according to their activity, life stage and current weight.
Please ensure that fresh drinking water is available at all times.
Dogs often try to eat their food too fast! Scattering food in an outdoor space or into a puzzle feeder is a useful way to prolong their enjoyment of eating a meal whilst easing their digestion.
If your dog shows any sign of becoming under or over weight please consult your OSCAR Nutritional Advisor for help and advice.
