Adult Cat Care Neutered Cat 4kg

Brand: OSCAR

4kg bag of neutered cat food

Did you know? Neutered cats can require fewer calories than before neutering to maintain optimal body weight. It is estimated that between 39% and 52% of cats in the UK are overweight or obese.

Our Neutered Cat Food is made with that in mind. Our tasty Chicken recipe can be started after neutering for early weight gain prevention and is suitable for all neutered cats from 4 months of age. Its high, succulent meat content supports weight management with the added benefit of natural fibres to reduce hairball formation. When it comes to optimum nutrition, it includes Beet pulp and prebiotics to aid healthy digestion, specific minerals and Cranberry to promote urinary health and Biotin, Zinc and Omega 3 to nourish a healthy skin and coat.

Choose Wisely

Our Neutered Cat Food recipe is frequently chosen for its delicious flavour but is specially formulated to help overcome the effects of weight gain after neutering. It is also ideal for less active or indoor cats requiring calorie restriction. Pet Care Guide

  • When feeding for the first time, introduce gradually over a period of 4 to 10 days.

  • Cats prefer to eat little and often. Follow our feeding guide and divide the total amount of food into a minimum of 3 to 4 meals per day.

  • Cats prefer dishes that are shallow and wide so that their whiskers do not touch the sides.

  • Fresh water should always be available. Some cats prefer water fountains, tap water or rain water, so allow for choice.

  • Keep your cat’s feeding bowls, resting areas and litter trays in separate areas.

  • Scatter feeding or hiding food can help to keep cats fit and active, reducing their chances of obesity.
