Welcome to OSCAR Pet Foods Congleton. A wonderful pet food service delivering high-quality, nutritionally superior pet food (including a wide range of dog, cat, kitten and puppy food) as well as small animal pet supplies and exciting accessories throughout parts of East Cheshire and North Staffordshire, including the rural market towns of Congleton, Holmes Chapel, Biddulph and Leek. OSCAR Pet Foods Congleton is a van-based delivery service with a difference; we don’t just deliver pet food – we deliver it with detailed nutritional advice and qualified pet care knowledge combined with useful behavioural tips – not to mention a great deal of care and attention.
With a 20-year background in pharmaceutical sales, which included evaluating products and services related to health and wellbeing, I found my own values very much aligned with OSCAR: nutritional expertise, exceptional product quality and careful consideration towards minimising environmental impact.
OSCAR is all about quality you can see. My personal experience of OSCAR stands to illustrate just what quality food can do. When our rescue lurcher, Robin, developed some terribly unsociable stomach problems (which must have been uncomfortable for him and could certainly clear a room!), we tried many other products, but none of them helped him. Then a friend who already used OSCAR recommended the brand. We’ve simply never looked back.
When COVID struck, it made me take stock of the priorities in my life and finding a work/life balance that reflected my appreciation and support of the community in which I live came out on top.
My vision for the future involves a lot of hard work (and employing my husband and two children from time to time!) to grow this business into a local service for our community that reflects the passion and respect that we all share for our pets and that helps you to make great choices in pet food - to show your pets just how much you love them!
In my household, a strong theme of caring for our planet and all things green drives many of our family activities – so it’s no surprise that a strong emphasis on sustainability and minimising carbon footprint underpins my business priorities. I’ll be helping you recycle bags and saving you unnecessary pet supply journeys by planning ahead and bringing things right to your door. I’ve even taken personal training sessions for core strength – so I can do all of the heavy lifting for you!
Away from work I enjoy spending time with my family and keeping fit, and I have a passion for horse-riding that I long to get back to.
I’m really looking forward to meeting new people and of course your furry companions! Please give me a wave when you see my van – and by all means stop me for a chat and some advice!
